Mr David Reay

David Reay is a consulting engineer, specialising in heat transfer and thermodynamics. His main areas of interest are compact heat exchangers, heat pumps and process intensification. He is an advisor to the UK Heat Pump Council, in particular on industrial heat pump technology. He is a Visiting Professor at 3 Universities: Nottingham (Built Environment), Heriot-Watt (Mechanical Engineering) and Newcastle (Chemical Engineering). He lectures on heat pump technology at two of these.

Mr Keith Sutton

Keith Sutton is a professional journalist who for the past 25 years has been writing about heat pumps – among other acr related things. In 1997, ACR Today, of which he was then Editor/Director, embarked on organising a series of ongoing workshops (Regional exhibitions and seminars) devoted to promoting the better se of heat pump technology.

Today, Mr. Sutton runs his own professional writing and public relations company, which he founded, with his late wife Pam, in 2003. He specialises in writing about heat pumps and the air conditioning and refrigeration industries and is freelance UK correspondent for the global publication Refrigeration World.

Honorary Member - Tony Bendall (Retired)

Tony Bendall's career has been spent in the air conditioning industry, mainly the manufacturing sector.

Long holding a special interest in heat pumps and their market application, as manager of the HPA he represented the Association and industry on a number of bodies including the UK Heat Pump Network, Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group and the European Heat Pump Association.

Tony has spent his career in the HVAC industry and, in addition to being a former Sales Director of Qualitair and of Myson's air conditioning division, has also worked for J Samuel Whites, Andrews, Sabroe and Temperature Ltd.
