What is FETA ? The Federation
of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) is the recognised UK body which
represents the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors
within the heat pump, controls, ventilating, refrigeration & air conditioning
industry. It is split into six principle Associations ADCAS - BCIA - BFCMA,
BRA, HEVAC and HPA. More about them below.

Our Mission
To enable our members to compete on favourable terms in an improved national
and international business climate.
Our Aims
- To be the representative
voice of the UK HVACR industry so as to promote and defend its interests
and those of our members.
- To provide high-quality,
cost-effective services and programmes tailored to members’ needs.
- To facilitate and
promote the growth of the industry in national and international markets.
- To participate
in scientific, public and policy debates which might affect members
and so influence policies, legislation, regulations and standards.
- To provide members
with a source of information on market issues, legislation, training,
technological advances and research.
- To be sensitive
to, and satisfy the distinct needs of, the many sectors of industry
represented by and within the Federation.
- To be a growing,
pro-active trade association actively collaborating with other similar
organisations and working for a better future for the industry in general
and for our members in particular.

or represent members’ interests to the European Commission, UK
government, devolved authorities, national agencies and other trade
bodies.

authorities.

statistics surveys for specialist groups.

on legislation, regulations, standards, exports, technical and business

of Ductwork Contractors and Allied Services (ADCAS) Representing
ductwork contractors and the allied services which form an integral part
of the ventilation and air-conditioning industry.
Building Controls Industry Association
(BCIA) Representing the UK building controls industry.
British
Flue & Chimney Manufacturers Association (BFCMA) Representing
factory-made chimney products.
British
Refrigeration Association (BRA) Representing manufacturers, wholesalers,
distributors, contractors and end-users of refrigeration plant.
Heating,
Ventilation and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association (HEVAC)
Representing manufacturers and distributors in all sections of the Heating,
Ventilating and Air Conditioning Industry
Heat Pump
Association (HPA) Representing leading companies in the field
of heat pump technology, using waste heat (from the ground or water) and
turning it into heating and cooling.
